Built in its current form in the 1500s, the castle evolved and shifted through countless wars, leaders, ideologies and regime changes, forming the awe-inspiring melting pot of cultures and styles that you see today.
The CryptoCastle of Burgscheidungen is a unique architectural example for both the region and all of Germany, if not Europe. It features a rich combination of baroque and renaissance styles, and now holds the honour of being the oldest and best preserved baroque secular buildings; still standing strong after centuries of conflict and changing regimes.
Today, the castle no longer battles invading armies or forms alliances with powerful nobles: it stands for the next generation of blockchain ingenuity, community, and growth.
